Rainy River Historical Scrapbooks
The Rainy River Library holds a number of scrapbooks that contain newspaper clippings of local news, obituaries, and so forth. These were created by local historian Marg Thompson.
There are ten (10) 'Flashback' albums that contain an assortment of articles in no particular order dating back to the 1930s. There are also seventy-eight (78) scrapbooks which contain local articles, mostly in chronological order, ranging from 1942 to January 2002. The contents of each book are listed by page number and list the title and date of each article and author if known. These scrapbooks are available for public use in the library. The contents of each scrapbook will be uploaded as they are catalogued.
